DB2 Stored Procedures and UDFs on
the Mainframe: How and Why
This presentation will describe in detail the steps
needed to set up the mainframe environment to run DB2 stored procedures
and user defined functions (UDFs). The presentation will begin by defining
the benefits of stored procedures and UDFs. Next, some key decisions
required of the implementation team (systems programmers, DBAs, and
application developers) will be discussed, including considerations for
the choice of a programming language will be presented.
The meeting will be held at the Sheraton
Cerritos. We will have a full day meeting including continental breakfast
and lunch. I do anticipate that a large number will be interested in
attending this session, so please send your confirmations as early as
possible so we can reserve the room and count for the food servings.
