LAADB2UG REAFFIRMS MISSION!
At the LAADB2UG Steering Committee meeting held this month, the steering committee reaffirmed its intent to proactively provide for the needs of both the DB2 OS/390 and DB2 Unix/NT communities. DB2 Unix/NT is becoming increasingly important in the small business / dot. com / eCommerce sector as well as the Fortune 1000 / Government sector. Over the next several months, we will be revising our meeting formats to provide programs of specific interest to both groups, and will be increasing LAADB2UG awareness in all sectors.
We are actively looking for new members to help out in our steering committee. We need a little of your time to keep the group going with quality presentations and activities. If you think that you might be interested in assisting with publicity, newsletter publication and distribution, internet, graphics art, membership, speakers and programs, facilities, networking, or ideas, give me a call today - (562) 570-6317. I’ll tell you more about what’s involved. Helping out with the steering committee is a great way to gain recognition by the DB2 community.
JUNE PROGRAM – SPECIAL EVENT
I would like to thank Think Tank Systems, for sponsoring our June program, providing the meeting facility, lunch, and a speaker.
